It doesn't accept bookings. Beds are occupied according to the order of arrival of the pilgrims, starting at 2 pm. It is necessary to bring a sleeping bag. It doesn't accept backpack transfers (delivered by Correos or any other company).

Albergue Municipal de Peregrinos de Villapañada

San Xuan de Villapañada is a small village without shops or restaurants. The pilgrims should buy their food previously so they can cook dinner and breakfast at the albergue. However, they can find basic food and condiments like rice or salt at the kitchen 

Albergue Municipal de Peregrinos de Cabruñana

It takes bookings by phone (+34) 672 02 61 77 . Sleeping bags are not necessary.

Cabruñana is a village without shops or restaurants. The pilgrims should buy their food previously so they can cook dinner and breakfast at the albergue. However, the staff/hospitalero may offer some dishes and drinks.

The albergue is located between the town of Grau/Grado (6,4 km) and Cornellana (municipality of Salas). To arrive at Cabruñana, pilgrims must take a 1,7 km detour when they get to El Freisnu. The following day, it is not necessary to go back to El Freisnu, it is possible to get to Cornellana following the main road (carretera general N-634).
